Our team is in search of four bright and highly engaged professionals to join us as our inaugural Civics Coaches (2), Policy and Research Analyst (1), and Director of the Civic Corps (1). These positions are vital to the success of our organization, as they serve as the frontline ambassadors of CivicsEDU and its mission. They will work as a team to plan and facilitate Civic Academy Programs, design and analyze surveys, and produce other innovative community-based civic education initiatives.
Sounds exciting right? We think so too! While are no requirements for applicants to have specific majors, the Civics Coach positions would be perfect for a social sciences grad with an understanding of political processes, economic mobility, and social impact. Civics Coaches will lead efforts in educating residents on local government processes and their role in participatory democracy. We imagine our Policy and Research Analyst to be a lover of data. Someone that can turn complex data into a creative story. At CivicsEDU, we want to measure everything! Our P&R Analyst will work in tandem with our Civics Coaches to evaluate our programs and services, as well as develop innovative strategies to monitor the civic perspectives of residents in the Central Carolinas community. Our inaugural Director of the Civic Corps will be CivicsEDU’s chief volunteer officer, responsible for recruiting, training, and managing our pool of certified volunteers for our community events and activities.
